As well as accompanying visiting vocalist Kumar Gaurav Kohli in the evening, he will present a tabla solo in the distinctive Benares Gharana style in the afternoon session.
Dr Helena Joshi (Kathak dance) received the Sangeet Premi Rising Star Award at Sangeet Mela 2014 and her performance with live ensemble was one of the more popular items. She will be accompanied by fine Brisbane musicians led by tabla player Sri Shen Flindell.
